Que pasa, Trenchers? Ready for this weekend? Here's how it's going to go down:
JabBase4
First up this weekend is the fantastic JabBase4! In this fresh rendition of map-master JabJabJab's spiral base, two teams will face off in battles in and centred around a single, all important flag! The game will last 16 minutes, and the team with the most points will be crowned winner! Be in ?go JABBASE4 at 5pm EDT on Saturday, July 19!
FreezeTag
As the days get hotter and we get deeper into summer, Trench Wars is the place to cool off! Appropriately, our second Weekend Event will be FreezeTag! In this super cool event, warbirds and javs face off in a battle to see who can kill the other first! The special part is that when someone is killed, they merely become frozen! Once a player is frozen, you just need to shoot them once to unfreeze and return them to your team! This event will kick off on Sunday, July 20 at 6pm EDT, immediately following TWDT!
DoomsDay
Alien Masterminds are attacking earth! Humans (ship 1) must defend the flag at the bottom of this base-shaped zombies map while alien assailants (ship 3), led by the mother ship (ship 7) attack from above! In 10 short minutes, the DoomsDay mechanism will be prepared to blast all the aliens away! The game begins immediately after FreezeTag (approximately 6:30 pm EDT) on Sunday, July 20! Type ?go DOOMSDAY to play!
Also remember that we have a new #dist2014 schedule! Sessions begin on Wednesday, 6 PM EST, and Saturday, 4 PM EST. Sessions will last between 90 and 120 minutes.
